Well like I said seen Carl and he's doing alot better. He has 23 fractures in his knee, tibia and feemer. He will not be able to walk on his leg for for 4 to 6 months, and his lung and liver look to be healing well. Anyways, we discussed what happenned and he tells the mistake he made was not completely knowing the track and its pit falls before running it really hard. He says it was one thing not to have all the corners locked down (completely figured out) but to know the run offs is just as important(or whats in them). He, to his recollection was was going into corner 9 and there was a dip, which threw him off his line. So he said "I'm not gonna make this corner" and set up to go off at about 140mph. Corner 9 is a deadmans corner. Most that went down there have died. Anyways, he stood up preparing to ride the run off and hadn't realised that there was a small gully and then a mound angled up to some hay bails. Well, he hit them all. After the bails, there is a wall. That's where the previous riders had past after hitting. Carl, fortunately stopped like 10 ft short of the wall. He said if he had realised all that was out there he would've or could've set up to exit differently. He said he would've forced a lowside and slid it out. Instead of taking it head on. He stressed the importance of paying some attention to the tracks run off. So you might somewhat know how you want to or should exit. Anyways his spirits seem to be pretty good. He's also talking about getting a Duel Sport and rebuilding the Gixxer for a track only bike.

That's only part of it. He still has broke one side front and some in the back ribs. hip in several places, pelvic and heel. They put pins and a rod in his hip and feemer.

I thinks it had to be less of a wreck and more like this. :beatdeadhorse5: LOL

He is at Antelope Valley hospital in Lancaster, Ca.. Six and a half hours (one direction). You can call his phone or txt him. It's the same for his business Moto Stop # 209-688-0909. Which should be back up and running soon as he gets home. It's best to txt him first.
