Here are the things you need to do to make our bike track worthy.

Here are some things you can do now:
Start by getting the suppiles you need. Water Wetter, Distilled Water, Painters tape, Duct tape.
Now do a once over on your bike checking for...
Is there sufficient tread on the tires?
Is there good padding left on your brakes?
Do both tires have valve stems?

Next, clean your wheels with soap and water and then after they are dry, use the duct tape to tape over your wheel weights so they won't fling off when you are on the track.

Next drain your coolant. Do not let this just drain into the gutter and keep it away from ALL animals as it is HIGHLY TOXIC and just a few drops can kill them.
You can flush the system with distilled water to make sure all the coolant is gone.
Now mix the Water Wetter with the Distilled water at a ratio of 4 ounces per gallon.
Refill your radiator and your reserve with this mixture. After it's full run the bike for a few minutes, let it cool and then top it off. I recommend going for a short ride to fully warm up the bike. This will cycle the water thoroughly and bring any air bubbles to the surface.
Let it cool and top it off once more.

These things you will do last because you won't be riding on the street with these changes.
Either pull the fuses for your lights (front, rear and signals) or disconnect them altogether.
You only need to tape up your headlights if they are glass. I recommend doing it anyway.
Tape up or better yet, remove your mirrors.

    At the track.
Gates open at 7am. Registration starts at 7:15am. You will need to get registered before you take your bike through Tech Inspection.
The morning at the track, before you start you bike, check your tire pressure with an accurate tire gauge. You are NOT going to be using the factories recommended pressure because that is WAY too high for good traction. If you don't know what to set them at, write down the exact tire brand, model and sizes and Chris from Pirelli at the track can tell you what you need to run them at.

That morning at 8:20am you will be attending the riders meeting. This is very helpful and will give you information that will make your day much more enjoyable so pay attention.

    Track Use:
Each group goes out seperately at the same time each hour for 20 minutes.
At 9:00am the "A" group goes out onto the track.
At 9:20am the "B" group goes out.
At 9:40am the "C" group goes out.
At 10:00am it starts all over with the "A" group again and so on.
Lunchtime is from 12:00 to 1:00pm.

The C group's first session is a "Get to Know the Track Session" and will be lead in groups of around 3 by an instructor.
For your first few sessions, when you are not on the track you are in the classroom getting vital information to help you become a better rider.
Don't be nervous. It's not a competition. Everyone is there for the same reason you are, to have fun. There will be plenty of instruction both on and off the track. Go only as fast as you feel comfortable with.
    Hope this helps.

^^ Keep in mind, different trackday providers' schedules may differ in various ways. It's always best to check the website of the trackday provider for specific information.
