Getting ready for my move to Utah, unfortunately they require a safety inspection prior to registration and one bike is completely legit, the other just a little off, but the KTM is just plain illegal as can be. Just spent three hours on the KTM. 1--horn is now operational. 2--front and rear turnsignals are dot and work as advertized, except the exhaust is blasting on the right rear turn signal and will start to melt in about 2 minutes of engine operation, as long as I pass the inspection then the rear of the bike will go back to the way it was. 3--license plate light legal, even though I did not finish the license plate install, need to fab a new bracket. Still need to rig a switch for the rear brake light. Going to keep the aftermarket exhaust on both the ktm and cbr and see what happens, way too much work to change out the cbr exhaust. All I need to do to the cbr is install a license plate light and maybe put the silencer tip in the exhaust. Man all this and packing and well you all know if you ever moved out of state before, lots of shit to take care of. See ya at the Christmas party.
at least you don't have to revert back to the original color your KTM came in ... next, to un-modify all your tricks and gadgets on the DL, haha, jk.
