    which leads me to ask... why do muscles "lock" up after traumatic impact (knock outs in boxing/mma/etc, and impacts like Best went through)? Anybody know?

    In a situation like that, just like the person said, the brain loses "contact" with the muscles and there's no signal sent to release them from what ever state they were in.

    Oh... I totally missed that. I didn't listen to the audio (at work when I watched it). It's still crazy... it only proves how the movie "Matrix" is a real concept! The body just "hangs up" when the CPU flakes out (ok, sorry, bad joke).
