    Hey peeps, my name is KC. I am new to the area. My family just moved from PHX to Elk Grove.

    A lil' about me, I'm 28 yrs old, have a wife and 9 month old daughter. I spent 7 yrs active Army as an aircraft electrician and now I help maintain UPS monitoring systems for data centers. I ride a 2006 Triumph Daytona 675.

    As soon as we are settled in our home I will be heading out for a brisk winter ride.

    Thanks for the welcome.

    The pics are from a professional shoot I won for winning BOTM off a local forum in PHX.

    As for roads, what are some good short routes (120 miles) and some longer routes (300 or so miles) around the area? My father will be in town on the 2oth and is looking to rent a bike to ride.

    Welcome! That is a lovely bike!

    To our west is Lake Berryessa for an easy day ride, Pilot Hill and the road spurs off Highway 49 north of Placerville, to the south is Mines Road out of Livermore.
