Sometime in June, my engine decited to give up and FAIL while on my way to work causing me to not be able to show up. Now being in the Construction Industry, if you can not make it into work...they find a replacment. And in this economy....your replacement STAYS! and you are s.o.l. So!...without a job, it took me a while to save the money to replace the engine.

I now have a fresh SV650 engine sitting in my carport waiting to be installed into my frame. The problem being is I need a tool. An engine thrust adjuster socket that fits the frame of a '02 Suzuki sv650. My budget does not allow for me to purchus a $100(+/-) tool I will only use once. If anyone has one I can borrow or rent that would be great. Or if you know where I might be able to borrow/rent that would be great too. I just NEED to get back on my bike...and soon too!

I don't have one but I believe you can make one for pretty cheap. Just get the right size socket and hold it up to the bolt head you're working on and mark the slots with a sharpie and then take a dremel or grinder and cut the socket down around the unmarked areas and you should be good to go.

I don't know what size you need, but I have one. Also, you can pick one up at Kragen or Auto Zone. They might even have that as a loan a tool item. <--- You pay for it and then they give you your money back when you bring it back.
