well i was driving home from my parents house at 12:30pm today , with my to dogs one is a 80lb pitbull and the other is 20lbs of hell , so i have the window down so they can look out , like always , then out of no were the little dog jumps out the window , and im doing 50mph holly shit cars are coming and there was no way he was going to get killed so i slid the truck side ways to block the street !!!! i jump out calling for him to come back . wow he took off running fast well after chasing him all over florin rd and Franklin rd , i ended up by home depo were he was seen running , i looked for 5+ hrs putting up fliers and asking everyone i seen , so right before dark i take one more look behind home depo and there he was hiding in a very small place , i was so happy took him home and all that happen was to small road rash wow he was tuff and very lucky . so from now on ill be hooking them to the seatbelts so that not going to happen ever, just wanted to share went from oshit to sad to very happy .... that was my day .
he jumped from my 4x4 avalanche it was high to start but do it at 50+mph and only get a little road rash , he didnt even have his leathers and helmet on
Talk about roller coaster emotional ride! Glad your dog was in good condition considering his romp. Seatbelt fo sho!

thanks everyone today he is running and playing like nothing happen , i was thinking he jumped out to show off to the other dog (pitbull ) to show him how tuff he is ? sat belt for sure or windows closed <
very lucky!!! when you've got windows down, keep them to a minimum and be sure to hit the window locks, if you have them, so happy paws don't press down on a button.
that's why I always allow just enough room for my pup to get some air, but would have to do work to even try to jump/crawl out of my civic. Glad your pups doin good.
anthony, I always made my dog wear the seat belt while she drove the truck. Kept her from jumping out.
