Well Kevin Martin is in the works to be traded to the Rockets.... I don't understand how your going to trade someone with that kinda talent when for the past several years he has been all the kings had... But hey we have Tyreke Evans ... so always

Firstly, I hate the fact that in sacramento we call him "K-Mart". I find it silly since there was already someone in the league that went by that moniker (Kenyon Martin).

Secondly, Kevin is quite a talent. He can definitely score, but he does nothing on the defensive side of the floor and is not the go to guy in the clutch to win games.

Thirdly, this trade allowed us to get rid of Kenny Thomas contract (over $8 Million this season for someone that rarely plays).

I really wish Kevin the best. Things just haven't been as good for the kings since he's come back from injury. Tyreke has been great, but we definitely need to shake things up (and nobody in their right mind would trade the rookie of the year). Yes we did get McGrady in the trade, but I doubt that he'll ever play a game in a kings uniform. I'm pretty sure he'll be dealt to the knicks before the end of today.

Yes, I'll miss Kevin, but this is a team sport and team chemistry is more important than the merits of one player.

  3. Personally I'll miss the small Sacramento breweries, the pub chemistry is more important than the missing merits of industrial beers.

Martin played NO d.... even if we didnt trade thomas... his contract was up at the end of this year anyways so either way thats 8 mill gone... martin has like 21 million left... sergio rodriguez would have been great if 'Reke wasnt so amazing and beno didnt play good again.

I personally thought Kenny Thomas.. got the raw end of the deal in sac.. he never complained never took a play off and played his ass off every min on the floor.

    good luck to him...

    apparently nothing
The Kings were in almost every game until Martin came. I personally think the Kings should have worked him in, rather than puting him in the starting line up right away. When he was injured, the young Kings had gelled.

Really looking forward to Carl landry though. I'm really hoping he's a Chris Webber type and can score in the low post. That is where the Kings are now losing the game in the 4th qtrs. No one to give them a high percentage shot when needed.(avgs 16 pg off the bench) But why Sergio, he didnt play much, but was a spark plug when he came in. I like the way he pushed the ball.

yeah sergio was great when he played but Beno and Reke have stepped up into a nice 1 2 punch. and if there is value then get it out of him..

I think it is all part of a bigger plan. The worst that the Kings do that is more leverage to get either the team moved or a new arena. :shooting_smilie2:
