So I just noticed that there is a ladies section...yay! Another forum I was on had one too but the guys were completely excluded from it so they couldn't see what we were talking about drove them nuts! So since we have our own section....let's introduce ourselves and talk about whatever. I know, I just did my first introduction post in the newbie section but thought this would be a good way to start off this thread and get to know other girl riders! So Hello, my name is Sheena. I'm 24, married, and have 2 kids. I don't have my own bike but I just ride passenger on my husband's Honda. I love bikes...have been around them for a while. I drive a car...lol. More practical with kids ya know. I have an '09 Dodge Charger SXT. If it weren't for the price of gas, I would have gotten an R/T....maybe someday. Ummm, besides all that....my life revolves around my kids, husband and work. Currently I work more than I am at home unforunately...at least that's how it seems. Doing lots of overtime...good money I guess. Once the hubby finds another job I won't have to do it so much! PS...I tend to write a lot....sorry lol.
HI Sheena! Welcome! Hmm well most of the ladies on here know me but for those that dont..heres a briefy: My name is Angie, I ride and 06 SV650S, been riding a little under 3.5 years. I have one son, Xavier who is 6. Love love love riding both street and track though havent done much since Nov cuz I am in the middle of buying a house..also cuz Ethan (RACERX) crashed his bike at the NOv track day and its not as fun riding without him...we are working on getting his bike fixed though so we can get back out and do some rides in the spring!

First time ever on a bike was when I took the MSF course October 2007. Started with an adorable yellow Ninja 250 I named Momo. Love riding the streets and have done a handful of track days. But I enjoy the long distance overnight riding the best! Live in Roseville with my love, Hoologan, and our dog, Jetta. Adore my nephew Brian. I'm a dance-a-holic and a hug-a-holic. I look younger than I am..probably cause I act it. heh heh heh ^_~ I love anime and romantic comedies and books and am recently getting better at cooking! Food is an aphrodisiac to me. Enjoy spending time with friends but sometimes like to be a loner too.
Nice....good to meet you two! It seems like all the girls on here have a sig other on here too lol. Makes it easier to hang out with other people when you have that in common. Kids too!! I love kids!! So how is age 6? I go insane most days raising a 2 year old! The baby is nothing....piece of cake! But terrible 2's are the worst! Love her to death though!
Just about the time they hit 4 or 5 and are able to converse with you on a more intellectual level, they get really fun and entertaining at least the boys do..I have no experience with girls. Between E and I we have 5 and four of them are boys!
Jenkat Hello ladies! I'm new to the forum but my hubby (spaceman) has been around for a little while. I ride a Honda Shadow 750cc and love it. It's a very comfortable ride for long distance and I don't want to give it up but I'm looking at a Ducati Monster for riding more 'crotchrocket' style. Hubby has a GSXR1000 that I've gotten to take out a few times and it's awesome but I want my own. I'm not a 'back of the bike' kind of girl - maybe a control freak thing - who knows. Jeez...here I am complaining about being too busy with 2 kids! You have your hands full! We wanted a boy so bad and both times we got girls. I'm afraid to try a 3rd time but I know I do want a 3rd...boy or girl. Even though hubby says we are done having kids...."accidents" happen lol.
Yes it gets busy..the youngest is mine at 6 though so its not too bad..babies are too much work for me! Which is why in order to prevent an "accident" my ass is getting fixed next month!!
Hey Sheena! My name is Kylie. I've been riding for about 2 years. I still consider myself a newb. No trackdays yet for me but I'm definatly working on it. I have an SV650 which I love riding. Unfortunately I don't get out as much as I'd like. I have 2 jobs, a husband and 2 little boys (Gabriel 3 & Evan 2) So i kinda of have my hands full. I do Admin work for a construction company and am a bartender in a club on the weekends which is a blast. It's gets pretty entertaining! :hurray: I hope to see you out on a few rides soon. I enjoyed all the ages until we got past the 'stage' and then my tolerance wore out... especially age 3. With both girls, that was the hardest age I think. I've got two girls - ages 11 and (almost) 9. I LOVE this age. They are funny and independent and a pleasure to be with - most of the time. Welcome to SCR. I think this is a great group and hopefully I'll get the time to get more involved.

I got fixed a couple of years ago - a total breeze. Went in on a Friday morning and went to work on Monday. Milked the sympathy a little over the weekend.
Lucky..i tried to do that but since the VA's doing the cutting I am at the mercy of their schedule and my obgyn only gets surgery days on tuesdays..so Feb 23..I am getting my lonely little tube tied and hope to be snowboarding by that saturday!

So you got the 2 year age difference too...and 2 girls! I love my youngest Kylie's age. Babies are just so easy and cute! Natalie's age is FUN though....besides the terrible 2's, she is a blast. She says the most off the wall and funny stuff! It's cute how grown up yet little she is. They grow up so fast!
Hay Sheena love seeing the girls out there. I've been riding for years. I ride an SV650 and my hubby (Chad) and I share a few bikes. I also ride dirt CRF 230. I love riding both. I have 2 kids also, 17 and 14. My 14 year old loves to babysit....................Cant wait to ride with you. Kristeen
