a best friend and a bodyguard, all in one wonderful, loyal, loving, package. two year old male, neutered, microchipped, obedience trained and smarter than the average bear. crate trained, housebroken, lots of tricks. up to date on all shots and current license. black with a silver undercoat and white markings. this is a VERY moto friendly dog- he's been raised with lots of track days and races and enjoys going along to see all his track friends. we're told he was giving the cat in his prior home some grief (no injuries) though we haven't seen him react badly to cats on walks. we also know he killed a chicken that flew into his yard. other than that, no behavioral problems. he's obedient and very much praise driven. he had a good training foundation and since he's been back with us has continued to be a perfect gentleman. he even knows and obeys a number of ASL commands! he's been getting along pretty well with other dogs here but we'd prefer a placement for him that does not include other pets. he is currently in Sacramento with us (his breeders) until we can find him the perfect forever home. we require potential adopters to fill out an applications and complete a home check, and request on successful adoption that a donation be made to either TARA (Tikihut Akita Rescue, a norcal 501(c)3 charity) or Sacramento SPCA he loves truck rides, long walks, swimming, hiking, and snuggling at your feet. all in all, a great dog. he's also a pretty large dog- 105# and about 27" at the shoulder. Wish I had time for a dog. We had Akita's growing up (9 on time) and they are amazing animals. Very loyal, quiet, and great family dogs!!!

he loves you too, Cody! if all goes well on his meet n greet Saturday he'll be living in a moto friendly home and coming out to 2010 track days. I warned him that you guys have visitation rights
Update- Koli has been adopted! he goes to his new home next weekend. his dad has some supplies to pick up and a few fence repairs to make prior to sending the furkid over there to live. YES, Mike does trackdays, and YES Cody I pointed him in the general direction of Z2, he also assures me since we live so close that if we're attending a day and he isn't, Koli is allowed to go along to see you all
