Don't know what section to put this in so here it is. I got a ticket for my exhaust and honestly I could take off the exhaust replace it with the stock one take it to the station and come home and put it back on but it would take alot of time, so I was wondering if someone knew someone who would sign off on it for me.
not to break your ball... bearings but, if you did that, wouldn't you run into bigger issues if you're caught with a "unnecessary noise" ticket? I though the 2nd time around, it's not a "fix-it" ticket anymore? curious... how "difficult" is it to put the stock exhaust back on? Is it a slip-on? In a way... wouldn't it be easier to swap back and forth than to go out and find a LEO to sign it off?
Just got busted myself for noise ordinance for my car stereo, how much is this nonsense gonna cost me?
Find an older ticket you recieved...I save all mine... "Copy" the Signature of the LEO that gave you the ticket and his Badge Number... Go to Court...Judge does NOTHING to confirm who actually signed it off or even why...courts are SUPER busy these days working on more "fund raisiing" for State & City. All they really care about is collecting a "administrative charge" from you...which I believe has now gone up to about $30 now. I know...here comes ALL the comments about how WRONG this is...but really, haven't they wasted enough time of yours already?
Last time I had an ordinance ticket the gal at the ticket office next to the downtown court house signed it off. If you go to court they'll charge you an admin fee, right?
10 years ago I paid $150 in Fairfield......Bastid lit me up when I pulled into my driveway......and I shut it down three blocks away as not to piss any neighbors that may be watching my chit for me wile I was sleeping (yes...I had one of those neighbors....always peeking out her front window)
I didn't pay a thing, just told her it was fixed and she signed it off and wrote the ref# down for me
First of all sorry for asking for help and not replying ive been really busy lately. Donald - It will take me a while because its a full system. That is why I posted up I was looking for a quick fix for it Chance- So far they sent ma a notice to apear saying that they want 178 without correction don't know what the fee is yet if I get it signed off on Ray- yeah I know Pie should know how to get past this by now Tymka- Good Idea. Wait I mean seems a little sketchy so I would never do that :smilielol5: Pie- seriously what do you do when they pull you for yours exhaust? Ill probably just put on the stock drive it to the station and put the full back on when I get home. Thanks for the help guys
I imagine pie driving by a Police car has the same effect on their senses as a flash grenade. Giving him just enough time to get away before they get the plate #.
