Beer Is a Rich Source of Silicon and May Help Prevent Osteoporosis ~ Science Daily A new study suggests that beer is a significant source of dietary silicon, a key ingredient for increasing bone mineral density. Researchers from the Department of Food Science & Technology at the University of California, Davis studied commercial beer production to determine the relationship between beer production methods and the resulting silicon content, concluding that beer is a rich source of dietary silicon.
I think you're supposed to drink the beer sarge, not implant it. PS: this is bone mineral density, not boob density
thats not the way I read it from the picture, but I still think that the itiots at uc davis are idiots and prima donna's
Bah someone was supposed to say, "That's not a cup, it's a stein" so I could say, "Not the cup I was talking about"
Ok, I get it The picture is from the Oktoberfest in Munich. So you're upset about the Pepsi thing UCD did right? Maybe on your last visit you should have checked out the fadder land. Not all of Europe is an island More Oktoberfest gals!
No, not the pepsi thing that uc david did, I grew up here and have been unimpressed with the professers at UCD foir ever, and their town is known as the peoples republick of davis with good reason, it is so far left of the rest of the world that they cant get any further kleft. where else can you get cited for snoring too loud, and the frogs have their own tunnel under the road to "save the little froggies". Got no use for davis and the university
When I lived in Dixon I always enjoyed going to Davis. A lot of great restaurants, coffee shops, book, mag & record shops. Best scoop of any B&R ice cream. Lots of great parks and place to ride bicycles. Great farmers markets and even the university cafeterias are good and open to the public. Woodstocks had great beers and pizza by the slice plus a lot of cute gals. And I like the fact they the city doesn't put up with the loud car stereos. I wish Sac and Elk Grove would enforce that.
I been here 9 years. I like it OK. There are peculiarities, like toad tunnels and the old snoring story (before my time), and some odd folks. But I just steer clear of them and mind my own business and all is cool. No one hassles me about my moto, either. Folks here are to the left, but on average not as far as you think. It is a great town to learn to ride a motorcycle in, and you are always close to country roads. But don't go too fast in town, you'll get popped quick, or so I hear.
I work in Davis quite a bit. The mix of it being a college town and really REALLY REALLY really liking bicycles, makes for a lot of good looking, nice legged girls tooling around in the morning. Makes for a pleasant drive =) However, people from Davis are strange.
